Based on the reviews, we were expecting really poor food and service, but we got the exactly opposite. The food was amazing! *They also get extra points for having digital menu with pictures and in a lot of languages.* My partner and my dad, both had sandwiches and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh and soft, and the mozzarella was just perfect. I had toast with butter and jam and yogurt with seasonal fruits and I have nothing to complain. Great service and food is great too! Spent €29 for a croque madame, sandwich, cappuccinos. Excellent price for a place just a stone’s throw away from the Colosseo. I recommend fueling up here after Colosseo and before exploring Roman Forum/Palatine Hill.

If you like to pay for warmed up processed food, this is the place for you. My lasagna was salty and I left this place with a stomach ache. When in Italy verify that the restaurant makes their own pasta. You have many better options up the road
