Lina El Sibai★★★★★An amazing coffeeshop that will definitely become my go-to place whenever I’m in Beirut! It has an authentic Lebanese touch with the traditional chairs and floor tiles and the old books on display, and such pretty cups! I also ventured upstairs to find a cozy reading corner that will transport you to another world! The coffee is tasty, and the “Ward” cold drink , along with the sweets (loved the baked cheesecake)… and the staff is super friendly. They also sell cute bookmarks and typical Lebanese small paintings … Cannot recommend it enough :)
Elie Ghobeira★★★★★You can't miss Levant when strolling along Gemmayze Street. Located across from the Darak station, formerly Zaatar w Zeit, this charming shop is brimming with Arabesque designs and Levantine elements. The vast selection of sweets and Arabic desserts, each with a unique twist, is truly impressive. We sampled most of the desserts, and every single one was delightful. The iced coffee was exceptional too. The barista was friendly and lovely, making the experience even better. Highly recommended—we'll definitely be returning to try more treats.
Hassan★★★★★you'll feel like you're visiting your Lebanese grandmother's house. The staff are incredibly genuine and kind, making the experience all the more special. Its is a truly unique spot that offers authentic Lebanese and Levantine desserts and coffee. It's not only affordable but also has a wide range of options, particularly for vegans. It's a refreshing break from the usual modern settings, providing a genuinely authentic experience.
Batoul Abdallah★★★★★You can’t stroll through Gemmayze without being swept away by the enchanting Levantine ambiance at Levant that fills every corner. The warm, welcoming smiles from the incredible team make you feel right at home. And just when you think it couldn’t get any better, the irresistible desserts catch your eye, promising a taste of pure delight. Also not to forget their flat white and tea are irresistible!
