I love this place, it has a nice sea view. It has clean washrooms, the staff are nice, there are parking spots available, and most importantly, the food is incredible. But it is expensive, very expensive. But after you finish, you will realise that the money you spent of this mouthwatering food is worth it.

Salinas, is an old restaurant with old way of service and un modernized Kitchen utensils ancient architecture and interior design. I told the waiter an elderly man who I came to know is the onwer later, that it is my first visit and need to eat something that will make me talk about Salinas. He replied those who didn’t eat fish in Salinas means they never ate fish yet. Then he ordered me to go with him. He took me to the kitchen to a fridge full of fresh fish where he gave me tips on how to identify the freshness. First if you touch the fish with bare hands you shouldn’t smell the fishy smell. Eyes should be as a doom not sucked in. Eyes must be red color not dark red color. The Sultan Ibrahim fish was for 150,000 per Kilo I chose the biggest two fish and they cooked them in a very tasty way even the fins were crispy and tasty. Very tasty and yammy. I enjoyed every bite of the fish. The only draw back is that the salad,beaf cubes, chicken escalop were not good and caused stomack ache f

The restaurant it self is old & not well maintained, the food quality was reasonable & the service was good. However, once they find out that you are not a local person or a tourist they hike the seafood price tremendously. They charged us $45 for one kilogram of small barracuda( مليقة ), and what is worst he brought us 3 small fish for 1/2 a kilogram, which is usually 5 to 6 pieces. You can say we got ripped of, the next day we went to a good contemporary seafood restaurant In Beirut where he charged $25 per kilogram 🤦‍♂️ Please watch out at this place for not to get ripped off😔
