Tried Stranger at 47 Cafe because a friend recommended their crepes, and I'm glad I listened. The crepes were absolutely amazing, light, freshly made, and packed with flavor. Definitely the highlight of the visit! If you're a crepe lover, this place is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu.

Seafood crepe with soft shelled crepe is an interesting combination but it hits all the right spots especially if you're a seafood lover. Personally, it was ok for me. I prefer their kaya and pandan crepe. Peruvian chicken was well roasted and not dry; the dipping sauce reminds me of mint sauce. Mint sauce that's usually served with tandoori chicken. This restaurant also is pet friendly (outside only) and runs an adoption drive. Checkout the cute dogs and cats up for adoption outside. They have a private parking nearby and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Came around 9am ish and plenty of available seats. The staffs were very friendly and attentive, and I enjoyed their Lethal Shrooms crepe very much. Had a pleasant time reading a book there while enjoying a nice cup of iced latte too. They have an hour and a half time limit to have meals there during the weekends due to crowd.

This was our second visit, and we happened to drop by on Christmas Day during dinnertime without a reservation. Despite the crowd, we were not turned away. A table was found fairly quickly, and the staff apologised in advance for the longer wait for food. The wait was well worth it—the ambience was pleasant and jovial, and the food was enjoyable and well prepared. What truly impressed me, however, was the hospitality. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. One particular staff member (unfortunately I did not get her name) stood out. Despite how busy it was, she noticed that I had finished my tea and kindly offered to refill the cup with hot water. It is this level of attentiveness that sets this place apart from many other eateries. This is certainly somewhere I will happily return to, time and time again.

I enjoyed the grilled chicken and mash. That was the highlight of my brunch. Everything was seasoned so perfectly. My only takeaway for improvement would be for the pesto sourdough sandwich to be less chewy and dry. Some sauce to go along with the sandwich would be nice. The matcha was so-so and grainy.

Came over with just half an hour to closing time, and yet the staffs welcomed us with smiling faces. The whole vibe here is just great. Ordered a dirty even though it wasnt on the menu, and a piece of brownie to go. Man was i pleasantly surprised! I think i have found my place for dirty. Definitely going to visit again!

The Uncle's Salmon was pretty good, Salmon was well cooked crispy skin and not dry at all, love the pumpkin puree and creamy spinach which makes the dish feel kinda light even though it is a quite heavy dish. The dessert was okay, not too sweet, the sweetness came from the apple itself and icecream and yeah you can really smell the cinnamon. Overall recommended for once in awhile occasion

Strangers at 47 in Petaling Jaya was a pleasant enough café stop, especially if you are there for their pancake-style dishes. I had the seafood prawn pancake, which was interesting on paper — savoury pancake, seafood elements, prawns, and a brunch-style presentation. It was not bad at all, but it also did not quite become something especially memorable. Nothing wrong, nothing right — just a decent café plate that landed somewhere in the middle. What stood out more was the general café setting rather than the dish itself. Strangers at 47 has that comfortable PJ café feel: casual, easy, and suitable for a slow meal or catch-up. The seafood prawn pancake was fine as a novelty, but I would not call it a must-order. A respectable neighbourhood café experience, just not one that strongly moved the needle either way.
