“Lunch at Mingalabar Mandalay was a full Burmese feast — curries, soups, salads, endless sides. Honest flavors and warm hospitality. A Mandalay must-try. 🍛✨”
“Super friendly and helpful staff. Good was average, not sure what all the rave is about. Lots of options both meat and vegetarian. If you order a curry it comes with rice, soup and a ton of sides.”

Grc★★★★★The restaurant has a variety of curries laid out on the first floor where you can choose your main dishes and then you can dine upstairs in the AC dining room. The vegetables platter is complimentary for every table. Love the pickled side dishes and spice level. Remember to try the local desserts - shwe yin aye (coconut milk with sago, coconut jelly, sticky rice, cendol, and white bread). Great service. Cost was about ~$14USD for 2 people.

Fiona O'Metz★★★Been here several times before and usually had decent experiences, however, today encounter was terrible indeed. The meal was simply satisfactory, but what really brings the whole thing down was the poor service, the waitress named Akari was noticeably rude and unprofessional to we, the customers. Her attitude did not reflect the level of service expected from a place like this. I hope management can do a better job maintaining the restaurant’s image in the future, because for a quality establishment like this, I expected much better.
Hunter Scrivner★★Worst restaurant we ate at in our week long trip to Myanmar — I recommend you look for a meal elsewhere. While the atmosphere is nice and the wait staff friendly and helpful the food was of the poorest taste and quality of all our 7 dinners in Myanmar. The serving portions are also very small relative to other Myanmar restaurants and that mixed with the price results in poor value overall. The chicken curry we ordered was full of bones which were a major choking hazard. The vegetable spring rolls we ordered tasted like they were microwaved or came from 7-11. Myanmar has great food — just not here!

Fickle Travellers SG★★★★★The food here is fantastic! 🎉 We had a variety of traditional Myanmarese curries - fish, beef, pork, chicken as well as a variety of salads. 😋 This time, we ended up with a very nice variety of desserts! One tasted just like Chendol and the other like Sago Gula Melaka 😋😋😋 I love the banana cake, in pink, too and had 3 servings ... Maybe four... Hahaha 😆🤣😂
Sandeep Saini★★★★Good but not the best place for vegetarians in the city. The place is very clean and odour free ( as you can find in a lot of Myanmar restaurants). The best part is a self explanatory menu. You have to order one main dish and it will come with unlimited rice and 5-6 side dishes. Only problem was that the choices were limited for vegetarians in main curry section.
