You will be definitely surprised to see food on your plate from the past. Pickles are priceless. I recommend everything from starters to desserts. Raithaane has moved to a new location at Kupondole within Hotel next door premises. I like the space much better than the last one in terms of ease of getting there. The place is non pretentious and serves you dishes that is made in different culture of Nepal and few inspiration from the world. Each of the dishes has a story and will tell you the origin of the food along with how it was eaten. So, when you are there, don't just go there for the food but also to hear the rich heritage of food. The dishes might not suit your palate however you are eating almost how different cultures used to have it.

You get different vibes when you enter this restaurant, so peaceful place. The owner is so friendly and doesn't hesitate to suggest you best dish. It was a great experience for me to taste traditional and authentic nepali cuisine. Lets focus on food itself. I tried 4/5 dishes and each one has different and authentic taste. No dishes were spicy(or chatpate), yet they were unique on their own. My personal favourite are - Raithane pie and Chukauni. The special salty tea, Sucha was also great but not everyone may like it. The price is also reasonable, and it is easy to find this place.
