Cozy coffee place and restaurant in the main square of Breda. Perfect terrace outside during sunny and calm wind days. The staff is attentive to details and ready to welcome requests, deep menu from breakfast to dinner and sufficient wait time. High-end prices compared to bigger cities in the Netherlands.

Went here once with work and had the Asparagus soup. Never had Asparagus soup before and thus for a first time I was impressed by the taste. The staff was friendly and we were served accordingly.

The place has a cozy, classic atmosphere with chandeliers and a great view of the square. The burgers were delicious — the homemade bread was crunchy and flavorful, making it extra special, and the fries were also very good. The only downside was the waiting time, about 20–30 minutes before the food arrived. Still, the quality made up for it. Conveniently, it’s also located next to Hotel De Klok, which makes it a great spot for visitors staying nearby.

The biggest point for this restaurant is for its location. It is in the heart of the center, right behind (in front of?) the main cathedral of Breda. Also, the style looks very unique, with a lot of accessoires. Quite a spacious place, therefore it was a lot of groups of people there (8-9 in a row). Booking a table must be done in advance for sure. Be prepared for extremely noisy time. What can be improved: there are tables at veranda part where you do feel constantly opened door, be prepared. There are no blankets which might be beneficial. Food was average and perhaps precooked in advance.
