Overall, our first impression upon entering the restaurant was fairly positive. However, the menu lacked clear descriptions, which made it a bit confusing for first-time visitors. We later discovered that, in addition to ordering from the menu, you can also order directly at the front where the dishes are displayed. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time for our food—almost half an hour. Been here multiple times, this place is also my favorite restaurant in Heerlen. Ordered and tried many kind of foods here and never disappointed . Outdoor space is also nice to eat - spacious and comfortable. We can order per menu or per gram. Price is also affordable.

You go in and order from a deli style counter and pick rice or noodles then a meat and a side. Then they microwave it (I know that’s a little odd) but it’s all fresh tasting and hits the spot with some spice. You pay at the end at the counter you ordered from. Bathroom is tiny.

The food was delicious and the Tjendol was just like I remember it from my childhood. The atmosphere was wonderful, the waitress and waiter extremely kind, overall a perfect experience. If they'd played Indonesian music it would have made it even more authentic! Can't wait for my next visit and for my next glass of tjendol! I highly recommend eating out here.
