They greet you with a smile and are very friendly. Very good English (especially good for us who can't understand Dutch). The food is very tasty. They are open all day, so they do breakfast, lunch and dinner. I ordered the Katsu sandwich and Lemonade with rose, cardamom, pear and apple, both delicious.

I love this kind of place. But this Buurt is such nice. The location perfect not in the middle of the downtown but not too far from the centrum. Parking not cheap but have lot of place close the restaurant. Need lucky if you come on rush hours. We were lucky. The menu rich with delicious foods. We ate salads. Was a California salad and a Cesar salad. My Cesar salad was rich from cheese exactly how I like. My wife salad was a bit salty but she is more sensitive. All together the food the service was enjoyable. Small nice music in the background.

Nice large terrace that is in full sun on a summer Sunday evening. Some tasty vegan and vegetarian options available as well. An interesting loaded hummus with soft and fluffy bread and pickled onions. And a yellow beetroot salad that can be ordered as a main dish. The beetroot was soft and subtle. Mostly greens and walnuts in the bowl but tasty nonetheless. And a good beer collection including the non alcoholic Texelse Skuumkoppe 0.0. Sweet little neighborhood cafe at the end of a pretty street along the water. Very friendly people as well.
