“The view is beautiful at night time, it is a nice place for a group hangout. Enjoyed the Bloody Mary mocktail with the Alfredo pasta...turned out to be a good combo with the spiciness in the drink complimenting the creamy pasta. Would have liked if the pepper sauce was spicily-sweet.”

Helena Nassar★★★★★We really enjoyed our time at this outdoor terrace! Every Thursday they have a “Catch of the Day” fish special that was absolutely delicious fresh and perfectly prepared. The place is perfect for lunch or dinner with a group of friends. The atmosphere is relaxed and spacious, making it easy to chat and enjoy the evening. We also loved that they offer shisha along with a good selection of cocktails, which added to the fun vibe. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual group gathering. We’ll definitely be coming back on a Thursday!
Tas A★★★I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. When we arrived just after 12, the staff seemed taken aback by our large group. However, they quickly prepared a table for us. It appeared that they weren't quite ready for customers, despite the restaurant's opening time being 12. When I inquired about the halal status of the meat, the staff seemed uncertain. As a result, I opted for the fish burger instead. The food took some time to arrive, and not all dishes were served simultaneously. On the positive side, the food was enjoyable. One suggestion I would make is for the restaurant to invest in better-quality fans, as the outdoor seating area could benefit from improved ventilation.
Amine Chamchoum★★★★★This place hides some wonderful surprises. One Thursday evening, we showed up not knowing they had a catch-of-the-day fish display, where you get to select your own fish. We chose two tuna, which they prepared and served as sashimi—an absolutely outstanding experience. Along with them we had Japanese rice, appetizers, and a bottle of white wine. Beyond that, the atmosphere is excellent, and the service is both friendly and professional. I truly enjoy Lagoon Restaurant and highly recommend it.
Tokunbo Koiki★★Went for the Seafood Thursday experience and it was just shambolics. We had a reservation for 6:30pm and got up to go make our selection. Only to have the guys tell us very snarkily that we needed to wait for our buzzer to go off before we could make the selection. Would have been nice to have been informed of this either at the point of making the reservation or upon arrival. Buzzer eventually goes off after almost two hours of waiting only to then have to wait another hour for the seafood to be cooked and grilled. Tiger prawns were overcooked and the first needed more salt and seasoning so all in all, probably one of the worst dining experience I've had in Lagos.
kayode Adewumi★★★★Visited the Lagoon on a Thursday which happened to be the popular seafood night. The place was packed. There were long waits without reservation.. So book in advance. The experience was selecting fresh seafood to be grilled or fried. If you are a seafood eater. This is near to heaven. There was a very wide range fish and shelled fresh fish - lobsters, crabs, prawns, octopus, calamari and a variety of fish. We selected a few and had another 30 minutes wait for it to arrive. The best was the Crab. Highly recommended. It was in a delicious vegetable sauce. Went well with the friend Rice. The other fish required a sauce which was unfortunately not provided. The server were friendly but disorganised. It took 20 minutes before they took our drinks order. Another 15 minutes for starters. I will return but maybe earlier in the day when I can relax and watch the bird fly across the Lagoon while cracking my lobster tail.

Moscow Rays★★★★★I And my friend went here to take pictures. They sell pastries and desserts like ice cream. The have a picture policy that lets you take photos with your phone or camera only when you reach a certain minimum spend. This minimum spend apply per person with the least amount being 10,000 naira. This is a very kids friendly environment as they have kids playground here.
soma basu★★Visited The Lagoon recently and had a nice time because of the pleasant ambience, however the cleanliness was something which was concerning to me. The cutlery was not clean and we had to request them to change the same. Being such a popular joint in Lagos this is not expected. Food taste was okay but not something to brag about. Overall if I ever visit again it would be for the sake of ambience only.
