Wonderful restaurant. I’ve only gone for the breakfast and truly enjoyed everything. From the ambience, the staff, and the food everything is very pleasant. Everyone is friendly and courteous. The food is fresh and filling and so good! Perfect amount. Karak tea was on point!! And that’s what gives them 5 stars!! I will go here again and again!

The food was good. We ordered the breakfast set for six people and everyone was more than full. After the savory dishes, dessert was also served, and we couldn’t even finish it, we had to take it to go. The food was good enough that we came back a second time; this time we had wraps, which were very good. Unfortunately, the service was a big downside. The waitress behaved as if she was working there as a punishment — no smile, no friendliness at all. At first, she came to our table every minute to take our order, not giving us time to calmly look through the menu. Then, when we were finally ready to order after about three minutes, she walked away from us three times to talk to someone else before actually taking our order. During the meal, one of our smoothies was spilled. The staff brought us… two small packaged wet wipes. No one cleaned the table or offered help. Complete indifference. One of the best and the authentic oman food that we had. The place was also very beautiful and felt so much authentic. We actually had haleem which had a different name but not much spices but a great taste. The breakfast platter was great and the drinks were good. Dukanah Cafe is a wonderful place to experience authentic Omani cuisine. I really loved the ambiance — the Omani heritage–inspired interior gives the cafe a warm and traditional feel. Their Omani breakfast is very good, flavorful, and well presented. The service is friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. Fresh juices are excellent and refreshing. A great spot to enjoy local food in a beautiful, culturally rich setting. Highly recommended!

We had breakfast with Arabic coffee. A single breakfast is enough to fill you up for a trip and a half. The quality of the breakfast was good, including cooked chickpeas, omelette, beans that were a bit sweet, cooked broad beans, lentils, cheese in olive oil, olives and cucumbers, and butter and honey. I really liked the butter and honey and lentils and cheese with olive oil. The decor is very nice and has a good atmosphere.
