À Mesa is a compact neighbourhood restaurant in Odivelas, serving Portuguese cuisine with an extraordinary wine list, and efficient service in a pleasant decor. We were two for dinner who had the couvert with tasty olives, for mains the delicious filetes de polvo on risotto, the folhado de perdiz, a crème brûlée and a chocolate mousse, all accompanied by a Duas Margens Douro Reserva 2021, waters and coffee for €45/pax.

The taste is there mostly, but the price is a tad high for the amount of food beeing offered. The entrance dishes and main course was quite good, special mention the the "camaroes à guilho" and the "presunto" , our dish ( we shared ) was the lobster risotto and the rice was a bit bland, lacking taste and needing another 2-3 minutes cooking. The lobster itself was really good. Deserts werent great either, the red fruits cheesecake is disappointing and the brulee cheesecake was tasty but not much else. For the place its located, probably hard to find a better choice. Be prepared to spend !

The only restaurant we really look forward to going to when we visit Lisbon. Amazing food, incredible wine and port and a great team behind the owner. Completely recommend
