This restaurant is quite standard which was a surprise after seeing the reviews and the pricing... We had the Pluma Iberica and the Lasaña to start, and shared a Merluza dish for the main. All dishes were adequate, but unremarkable. The dessert was as expected, however the coffee was dreadful!! The room is not heated properly to create a cosy atmosphere and the 40 minute wait to be seated was absolutely unacceptable. The entire room and welcome area is attended to by only one woman. Pablo and Begoña are the owners and the most awesome couple you can imagine. They are friendly, very competent restaurant owners. The food is so good it's beyond imaginations. They are both from northern Spain and the region and are familiar with traditional food and wine of the area. You can see this in their menu and. Soulful combination of transitional and artistic menu and decoration.
