Excellent place for lunch, anyone passing through Badajoz has to visit. The staff are excellent and the food is sensational. I ordered a seafood rice dish for 4 people and the food was excellent (and the price too), I highly recommend it to everyone!

We went on Sunday, September 14th, and I have no plans to return to this place. We arrived at 2:15 PM, asked if we could sit at any table, and a waiter said yes. We sat down, and the owner took half an hour to come out from behind the bar to take our order. When he finally came out, he asked what we wanted to drink. We told him we also wanted to eat, and he said, "First, just the drinks." So we ordered our drinks, he went behind the bar, prepared them, and left them there; we had to get up and get them ourselves. Twice we asked him if he would take our food order, and he ignored us. A well-located bar-restaurant next to a garden, with a large bar, tables, and a dining area. It also has an outdoor terrace. The cuisine is Portuguese, and the service is good. Parking is difficult; it's best to walk. We recommend the house cod and the serradura (a type of Portuguese fish). 🍏🍏🍏

The owner is quite unfriendly. I called to reserve a table for two and he replied rudely, "Look, sweetheart, we don't take reservations for two people." It's awful to treat customers like that. The times we've been, the food has been good and the prices reasonable, but we won't be back.
