This place is most likely THE BEST restaurant I’ve EVER eaten at!! The tomato was the best I’ve ever eaten! The steak and peppers were beyond delicious! The owner was so kind and explained all of the food to us! There are only five tables. I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to dine here!

Let’s start by saying, this is a no frills restaurant. The focus is purely on the quality of the ingredients and the cooking. Every ingredient is of the finest quality and Chek Irek is obsessed with using only the finest produce. Our meal was truly exceptional, the best beef we have ever had and dessert - the French toast in particular- blew our minds. Don’t miss the coffee either! My husband is a top Chef and we both work in the food industry. By far; this was one of our most memorable food experiences. Do not miss it!

Lovely, intimate restaurant – the steaks were excellent; seared perfectly and served simply, allowing the quality of the meat to really shine. Complemented by a well-chosen wine list. Located in a residential area around 20 minutes from the town centre. It’s a bit of a climb up the steps if you walk, but well worth it – especially after a protein-packed meal!
