We stumbled upon this out of the way restaurant, as we were wandering the streets of Cadiz, Spain. They had a chalkboard sign pointing to the restaurant on the main street, while we were walking around. Great wine selection, we choose a local red bottle, which was nicely priced. We also started off with a red sangria, which was delicious. They brought out the house potato salad and bread, which was nicely seasoned. We ordered a few dishes: Ham croquettes, grilled artichokes with Iberian ham drizzled with herb oil, local prawns in oil with garlic. I can not say enough about the grilled a

We came to this restaurant for tapas and it did not disappoint. The serano acorn fed ham was the best I’ve had in my life, melted in the mouth. The croquettes were to die for! The hake was on special and was so light and simple but delicious. The garlic gambas was divine. We also had the lamb chops with home made chips which you could taste was made with love! All this food and we left with happy bellies and not feeling sluggish! Because the dishes are real food and not heavy. Our waiter, who was the owner, was such a sweet heart and couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for a scrummy authentic

We saved the best til last. Final night of a week in this gorgeous city. What a special place to eat, taste and enjoy all Cadiz has to offer. This was earmarked as a top spot from vlogs and reviews and we were not disappointed we turned without a reservation @ 8pm . Chose a high table at the bar and were welcomed with a genuine warmth and friendliness by the owner. - a complimentary dish of potatoes and carrots arrived almost immediately . We ordered croquettes, gambas pili pili( absolutely banging! A real favourite for the OH, dish was sizzling and sweet. He was delighted with this dish. T

The standout dish is the grilled squid; it’s cooked with the ink inside, creating a depth of flavor that is hard to describe—it’s simply a must-order. The tuna tataki was equally divine, melting in the mouth with every bite. What surprised me most was the versatility of the kitchen. While the seafood is world-class, the Iberian grilled pork and the beef sirloin were exceptional. Whether you're a seafood lover or a meat enthusiast, this place will not disapp
