The food was great and impeccable. The service was not very satisfying. We booked a table on Feb 1 night, but the waitress barred the door and didn’t let us in because she believed that we booked Hutong not them. I don’t know why she got such impression. Was it because we were asian even though we spoke fluent Spanish ? She really used her arm to block the entrance until we showed our reservation. Her body language said we were not welcomed. The restaurant at that time had many empty tables that were never occupied that night.

One of the best meals I had im Madrid. Beautiful place, with a fairly trained staff (not well prepared for tourists) and a really good wine list. The food is just perfect. Really. We started with the Russian Salad, moving to the traditional Hispanic (Eggs, Jamon & Fries) and for the end a perfect Socarrat Rice with Rice. Just come here and have a good time.

We had a very pleasant dining experience at the “Taberna Puerto Lagasca”. The formula is simple: Good quality food, attentive staff and a cozy atmosphere. We did not have a reservation and decided to walk in based on intuition. They accommodated us and offered a free appetizer while waiting for the food order. We shared a very decent Mediterranean meal combination of cod fish and vegetables with a couple of glasses of wine at a very reasonable price considering the premium location of the place. Overall a solid A+ establishment.

A very small but good enough restaurant at street! The taste really beyond my expectations! 2 kinds of pre-meal bread with home made sauce, one is tomato with tiny pieces of leaves, another is potato pancake which look normal but taste really good! The only thing is no English menu and a little bit hot when seating outside.
