The prices are a bit higher than a usual bakery, there's usually a pretty long line, but the wait was definitely worth it because you can tell how their products are handmade and very fresh. The chocolate inside the croissants we had wasn't melted properly (first time it happened), but the ensaimada was delicious! So good! Would love to go back and try their other pastries, they all look super tasty.

What a hidden gem this place turned out to be! I tried the ensaimadas with cream and absolutely fell in love. Yes, I really mean it! The staff were warm and friendly, and everything I tasted was spot on. It’s a fantastic bakery overall. I didn’t get the chance to try the bread, but it smelled incredible. Definitely something I’d go back for. It was so good it made me want to move there, just so I could eat their ensaimadas every single day!

Okay pastries, but expectations were higher Went to Mistral mainly to try their ensaimadas, but I wasn’t quite impressed. They were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. I also tried the croissant, and I wasn’t very happy with it either. I think part of it is expectation — having tried croissants in France, I was hoping for something closer to that standard. Unfortunately, this didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Overall, it’s fine to try if you’re nearby, but it didn’t really stand out.

I ordered a croissant normal and a ensatmada cabell d’angel, both of them are really soft, the cabell d’angel has really nice filling. Absolutely love it, they’re just nicest pastry i’ve ever tried.
