Google has a funny way of showing directions. It kept telling me and my sister to walk through walls to get to this restaurant. We kept walking in circles for almost half an hour but I’m glad we didn’t give up. This is my first time ever having eggs Benedict because I hate English muffins but the eggs Benedict at Idle Hands is served on a hearty toast. I had mine with ham. The Hollandaise sauce was creamy and delicious . I’m still dreaming of this breakfast and I’m afraid that every other eggs Benedict after this will be a disappointment. Oh, the coconut olive bread. Amazing food and coffee for an affordable price. Had the steak sandwich for 15 euros. Vibe, energy, and design of the shop was amazing. Also had a nice chat with the owner Jacob who was very nice and helpful with tips for Girona. Would come back.

We had an excellent experience here, especially the shakshuka. Ours was incredible, we scraped the dish clean and ate it so fast we forgot to take a photo. We also had toast, three kids’ pancakes they even let us add bacon to one, tea, and a flat white, and everything was excellent. Idle Hands Girona feels like a true hidden gem, it was really hidden. It’s run by a local husband and wife, and the space has real personality, with a mural painted by the wife that gives it a creative vibe. Definitely worth it.
