What makes this place eepecial is ots authenticity: there must be few places left in Barcelona with such oldish style, bringing memories from when I was young and got into a bar for the first time. Perhaps the style won't fir everyone, but the feeling of warm is definitely something that few bars can do. It helps as well the simple yet great menu they serve at an incredible price -especially considering the area-. I came for breakfast only thought: plent of sandwiches to choose from! A classic neighborhood bar, with that familiar atmosphere, those smells, that traditional ambiance, and incredibly friendly, courteous service from locals. The prices are very reasonable. Something that caught my attention is that the regulars pay for themselves! With the familiarity of everyday life, they're given the card reader and each person pays for what they've consumed, because they trust the place and know the prices. That neighborhood feeling is unparalleled.
