May 2026 update to my previous review following a further visit:- Great local food of Extremadura available here but we did not have a good experience unfortunately. The bar is very popular with locals and tourists alike. We had a plate of Pestorejo, a real local delicacy which is delicious, as well as Cochofrito another local delicacy, and some ribs. It all tasted nice, portion sizes better than last time and the chips were nice too although the ribs were a bit dry but unfortunately the Pestorejo and the chips that came with it were almost cold and you really need Pestorejo to be hot and c

Visited this bar on October 20th at approx 5pm, while waiting for a friend to pick us up. We took a table on the terrace , after waiting for quite a while I went inside and ordered 2 wines, there were 2 staff present, I was told to take a seat and the waiter would be with me in a minute, I ordered 2 glasses of Palacio Quemado red wine, when the waiter brought the wine I asked for the bill, I was given a bill for €5.90. The food was delicious ! They have tapas here which is the small but let’s you try the meat ! Best meat I’ve had so far In Spain . The plates are big and get you full all day ! I recommend it, so much variety here ! And many seats available .
