We stopped here for lunch as it was a very hot day, the restaurant was in the shade, and the menu of the day looked very interesting. Our waitress didnt speak English and the menu was in Spanish, but that was no problem as with a bit of effort and help from Google we managed to be understood perfectly. All the food we had, three courses and coffee, was very tasty and excellent value for money, and we couldn't believe that we aslo got a free glass of wine. This was a very nice lunch, great value for money, and friendly staff.

I ordered “Boletus laminados sobre crema de puerros y aceite de trufa” from the menu and clearly showed the item when ordering. I am vegetarian, so this was important. Instead, they brought me a different boletus dish that contained foie. I only realized after it arrived/after checking, and it completely ruined the meal. For a vegetarian, being served foie by mistake is not a small issue. It is upsetting, careless, and honestly made me feel sick. Restaurants need to take dietary choices seriously, especially when the customer points directly to the menu item. Very disappointing experience. N

Excellent food. The pasta dishes are very tasty. The salads are made with very fresh products. Service was very good and patient, specially that she was very busy. Great location.

Authentic atmosphere and delicious meals in the heart of old Zamora centre. What I definitely didn’t like is the very hard communication with the staff. Like most of the countryside places in this part of Spain, they don’t speak any English, and the menu was written entirely in Spanish. On top of that, we were forced to order at least one meal for each person with the explanation that we occupy seats (late afternoon half restaurant empty!!). Usually I prefer not to waste food and for that reason I wanted to share my pizza with a friend… pity it didn’t happen. I think there must be some respect
