Café-Bar La Plancha is a great spot in Zamora for authentic tapas and montados. It has that classic Spanish bar feel: simple, lively, and focused on good food at great prices. I tried their lomo montado (grilled pork loin sandwich) – generous portion, juicy meat, and perfectly toasted bread – simple but delicious. The croquetas were also excellent: crispy on the outside, creamy and flavorful inside, the kind of tapa you could eat by the dozen. It's a shame to see how things change when management changes. It used to be a pleasure to come here because of the older gentleman's hospitality; he was a delight and always brightened your day by giving you a homemade croquette with every drink. Now the new owners have removed that little touch that won us all over. Besides, forcing you to pay in cash these days is inconvenient. Thankfully, the tapas are still delicious and the food is still excellent, but we'll certainly miss the old owner.

A bar with a recent change of ownership and a facelift. We enjoyed some exquisite tasting menus at a good price. The service was excellent, fast, and the waiters were very attentive. We'll be back!
