🍵🥭 Colombo cafe find of the day: Brown Sugar Cafe 💛✨ Stopped by for a little coffee break and accidentally found THE perfect tropical matcha drink 😭🌴 The mango iced matcha was sooo good — creamy matcha + sweet juicy mango = summer in a cup ☀️🥭🍵 Not too sweet, super refreshing, and honestly impossible not to love. The cafe itself is also super cozy and aesthetic 🪵📖 Perfect little spot to escape the Colombo heat, chill for an afternoon, or pretend you’re in a cute Bali cafe for a second 🌺✨ 10/10 would come back just for the mango matcha again 🥹💚

The place that I bump into after my morning walk and it turns out to be a very impressive experience. The smell of their Coffee Macchiato feels rightly soothing. The best thing is their cookie — a bit crispy at the outer layer but the softness melts right after you put it on your mouth. They are also very kind to give me some pieces of mini glazed-doughnuts for free. I’m happy and ask them for a picture so that I can include it in my review. They nod, and the smiles of the three of us speak for the ambience itself. Recommend everyone to give it this place a try while in Colombo.

This cute cafe is perfect for an afternoon sweet treat. The decor, music and overall vibe is super chilled, plus the aircon is great for escaping the heat. The staff are so wonderful, especially Sehasna. She has a warm welcoming smile and even helped me choose what to order. Very attentive. The guy turned the aircon on for me when he noticed it was warm, really thoughtful gestures. I ordered the crème’ brûlée iced latte and wow. Presentation is cute and it’s very sweet. I had a doughnut (special red velvet limited edition) but will have to try something from the savoury menu (maybe breakfast) next time.

Great local spot with warm and inviting staff. I don't drink coffee or have a sweet tooth so I stopped by for lunch. The sandwiches are essentially all bread with very little ingredients and I i would venture a guess that they are prepared and heated before serving. I say this because both times I visited my sandwich was warm to touch and cold on the inside - included the grilled cheese! Great vibe, music and staff.
