Loved this bar as my last night in Taichung! The bartender made exactly what I was asking for and was hospitable the whole time I was there. They got a bit busy later in the night, but he managed to pay attention to all of their guests. I would absolutely visit them again when I come back to Taichung.

I didn't eat there but I bet it's amazing. Wonderful staff. Galileo was a amazing bartender. They don't have a menu but I couldn't think of a classic cocktail he could make and I tried a few. Reasonable for such a high class speakeasy. Glad they made the hidden entry easier to find. I always forgot which shelf the hidden button was on.

Small speakeasy bar that just has a small bar and a few tables, they don’t have a menu but can customize a drink to your preference. We did a classic Negroni and a customized gin based floral/fruity cocktail, but felt like the drinks wasn’t very balanced and very much in-your-face. If you’re seated at one of the tables, expect little to no service at all.

Awesome little speakeasy. Came here on a Thursday night, you'll need to ring the doorbell to be let in the restaurant; once in, head to the bookshelf on the right. Lift the jars from the second-from-top shelf to find the secret button to get in. It's absolutely worth it. Inside is a speakeasy with a very skilled bartender, plus a really interesting collection of gin. Before you order anything, they offer a small cup of chicken soup to warm your stomach,and perhaps your soul. No menu, just talk to the bartender and try and discover what Taichung has to offer. I promise it'll be awesome.
