Our friends took us to this local beef hotpot restaurant for dinner, it’s quite a unique dining experience. Food was good and the beers and wines are very reasonably priced, selection was also better than expected. However, we saw a few big “insects” that really bothered us. It’s famous for the hand sliced local beef, which is fresh and not been frozen. The hotpot had lots of miscellaneous ingredients inside, and lots more you can order more from the menu. And there are lots of sauces, ginger slices and vinegar you can mix for your own taste, I like the spicy fermented bean paste, while there are other simple choices like soy sauce or you can also eat it without.

I visited this restaurant every time I came to Tainan. Comfortable seats. Air-conditioned. Delicious fresh beef hotpot. Pork (梅肉) and squid meatballs are also recommended. The aged steak is surprisingly good with the hotpot. The cold-brewed tea is a good pairing with the food. Crafted beer is available as well. A restaurant suitable for family and friend gatherings. Price is reasonable.

This is one of the more famous hot pot places in Tainan, and it didn't disappoint. The soup is amazing! We also ordered the giant grilled prawns which were cooked perfectly. They bottle their own tea, we got two different bottles and I think they were quite good. Good place for group. The staffs were extremely friendly and accommodating as we had two young kids with us.
