Service was a bit lacking and needed the help of locals before staff tended to us but the DJ was amazing! Was with a group of friends and the dj was open to playing music we were familiar with. Very enjoyable transitions even when he switched back to local music. You’d have a great time if you’re with friends.

I don't know what the problem was, but we were clearly not welcome. We managed to order two beers, but no one bothered to take our food order or even look at our direction, even they knew we came for dinner. As a cherry on top, the waitress tried to scam us with the change. After saying about this, she slammed the remaining money to the table without saying a word. At the same time, locals were treated like people normally are treated in a restaurant. Weird experience.

This visit was below a decent experience. We waited more than one hour for some chicken and rice. The food was nothing more than ok. When we finally got the bill, they had doubled the price for our dish. We started arguing because we obviously wanted to pay the price that is written on the menu. They refused and left us with a bad experience. This is a warning. Do not come here

Another update: The situation here is getting worse. This place has nothing to offer but a lot of low-quality alcohol, drugs, drunk people and EXTREME NOISE that will literally make your stomach rumble. And finally, they will cheat you. Even if you love to party, if you also value your health, you should AVOID THIS PLACE. Update: The worst pub in Zanzibar is almost back. With the incredible noise they make, they can't even wait until Ramadan is over. They started "practicing" today, during the day. Absolute ignorance and disrespect! Long waiting times, they will charge you whatever they want, and terrible noise that can literally damage your health. One of the worst places in Nungwi.
