The cafe is situated in the middle of a residential area close to the more crowded parts of the city but the whole space is filled with foliage which helps provide that tropical breezy feeling. A fan was enough to keep cool and they have an open backyard space that was comfy and sort of took you away from the city for a while. We ordered hot cappuccino and latte and some cookies which were all excellent. They were playing funk and jazz and not those weird sounding covers of pop songs. There were several customers but because of the large area it didn't feel noisy. The owners were very considerate, welcoming, and chilled. Pause cafe lives up to its name.

Good food at affordable prices with nice chill and homely garden vibes, would definitely recommend. The chicken bbq sandwich was chock full of ingredients and flavour and cost only 65 baht! The cold matcha latter was smooth and the matcha flavour was distinct and the hot dirty matcha latte was very well balanced and did not veer into the overly bitter side.
