Our first time at The Copper Mahal and my goodness this place did not disappoint. The quality of food was super. The chicken in all the dishes was super moist, tender and delicious. I recently ordered a takeaway from Cooper Mahal and was thoroughly impressed. It’s not often you find a place that hits the balance of authentic spice and fresh ingredients so perfectly. ​The food arrived hot and the aromas were incredible as soon as I opened the packaging. I ordered Chicken Tikka , Lamb Rogan josh and some sides , and you could really taste that it was cooked with care rather than just a generic base sauce. Copper Mahal is honestly the best Indian food we’ve had. We’ve been enjoying takeaways from here for several months, and decided to dine in today for our anniversary. Everything—from the service to the food to the restaurant itself—was absolutely wonderful. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. The food was simply delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented. We’re huge fans of Indian cuisine, and this is by far the best we’ve found in Hampshire.
