Went in for a coffee with my dad 1 person behind the bar very stressed and struggling to cope. No proper cups only paper cups as they had not enough staff to clean them the bar lady said. Love the new coffee machines but was out off coffee beans most of the time I was there.

Meet up with a ladies group so it was nice that we could all get to chat and get to know each other. I had breakfast which was good, they forgot my extra toast til later so that was nice as it was hot! This week there was a few of us and we pushed some tables together with worried the staff as we all (10 of us) ordered food and drinks. Bless em. They did a fab job and all came out with no issues.

While the staff themselves are nice, the slow service due to understaffing means drink serving times slow to a crawl and if you order via the app, and the food time has been as long as 40 minutes. I don't expect fast food here like McDonald's, however, I would expect other pubs to serve food much quicker. Overall, it's nice if you're out and don't mind chatting to pass the time, but even conversation can't stretch long enough before you get frustrated with the slow serving times. Again, this is no fault of the actual staff. This is the fault of simply not having enough staff on the shift.

So, let's get into it. Food is rubbish, old oil to cook chips! I could even taste fish on the chips, but I had a all day brunch. Place is packed like it's payday, staff are stoned and I've added a pic of my friends depressing chicken burger that he waited 30 mins for.. 👍
