My wife and I discovered Istanbul BBQ around two months ago, and it quickly became a place we visited every week or every other week. However, after today’s visit, we do not plan on coming back. To begin with, the bread served as a complimentary starter was heavily burnt, which was already a bad start. In fact, it was even more burnt than the meat shown in the photo below. We still tried to eat it after removing the burnt parts because we did not want to waste food. Unfortunately, it seems this issue went unnoticed, as the main meat dishes also arrived seriously burnt. This turkish restaurant is slightly off the city centre of Leicester. Situated in Wigston. First visit here. Good food Efficient Quick Not to busy within the restaurant for a Saturday evening, which was nice. Recommend this restaurant. Tip- Takes cash or Bank transfers only.

The second you walk in it smells amazing, they have so many options for food and the pricing is great, very friendly service and the food was absolutely amazing! Everything prepared was homemade and that easily makes it better for it. 100% would recommend going in, don’t be shy, Bora was incredibly friendly and quite amusing! sorry for picture of food that has been ate, it was good tho🤷‍♂️ I wanted it last longer

Waited nearly two hours for my order to be delivered half the meat, salad was missing and dry.I paid over £26 for the mixed kebab with rice which was a joke. To be honest I think i deserve a refund and won't be ordering from you again. I didn't receive any phone call that my order was going to be late and when I went on the app to see where my food was it wasn't showing anymore.When i called there excuse was because they were busy.Not a happy customer 🙃.
