Went here for brunch recently over the long bank holiday weekend. Luckily not much waiting time. Food was great! Pictured - Orange smoothie, iced coffee, fish Sando, Chicken sausages, banana bread w tahini (the best), and young Betty? which were one of the best I’ve ever had! Perfection. 4 stars - only cuz it was super hot that day and wish the place had a fan. Service was great! Polite and attentive. Would def come back - have to try the weekend special pancakes!

I don’t think you can go wrong with brunch from Milk; it definitely lives up to the hype. We queued for about 15 minutes and were seated at the window, which was a little tight, but overall didn’t mind. The space is busy and quite tight, but I was still able to easily converse and were still served quickly. The food was unmatched, with the pancakes having so many inventive flavours and a cornbread that was perfectly toasted and a really great texture (very unlike some grainier textures I’ve had elsewhere). Milk Balham never disappoints. Every time I go, the atmosphere is buzzing but still relaxed, and it just has that really cool, laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay for hours.
