I swung by Pear Tree Cafe a few days ago with a friend, and it was honestly such a refreshing change of pace. If you’re looking for a spot that doesn’t feel like your typical cramped coffee shop, this is definitely it. ​The first thing that hits you is the location. It’s nestled right in the middle of the park, which makes the whole experience feel like a mini getaway. We opted for the open air seating, and it was easily the highlight of the visit. On the 16th May 2026 I visited this venue. I would recommend popping in here if your ever in clapham common. The staff were absolutely lovely, and couldn’t have been more obliging. A friend and myself needed somewhere to spend a little time until we headed off to do the walk the walk for breast cancer. We ordered food and drink which was absolutely delicious and they allowed us to stay until we headed offed off . Thank you to all for being so understanding
