What an amazing place! Donegans has amazing decor, food and staff, and the owner Paul was fantastic allowing me to pull my first ever pint, and it was a Guinness! I had the Salmon and Prawns with smashed potatoes and it was devine! The place had lots of vintage items inside and the lush secret beer garden behind was beautiful! All members of staff waiting on and serving behind the bar where lovely and friendly. I really hope to return here one day. This was my first trip to Northern Ireland and Donegans helped make it wonderful!

I had booked a window table for our 2nd anniversary by email and followed this with a call to the restaurant to ensure my request could be facilitated. I was assured this was the case however on our arrival last night we were informed we had been moved as there was a large noisy party beside where we were to be seated. I was unhappy with this and we left. My point is that if this larger party had been known about in advance should we not have been informed? If not then as the restaurant was comparatively empty could our guaranteed request not have been facilitated with a more accommodating pl

I booked my 70th birthday party for the function room upstairs for 16th April. I had the best time and cannot compliment Donegans enough. The rooms were quirky and fun, the food was magnificent and so plentiful - they were happy to provide for gluten free attendees and the staff were brilliant, especially Selina, who oversaw the whole thing. Everyone enjoyed themselves and I thoroughly recommend it as a venue.
