Poppins was recommended by a staff member from a big supermarket when we found their cafe closed. It didn't disappoint. We ended up here 2 of the 3 mornings we were in the area. Prices are great, the food was fantastic, quick, hot & tasty and the service was really good too.

Great time out with the family. About 5 other people in the cafe when we, a group of 8, showed up. Waiter took our orders and food showed up soon enough. Portions were large and food cooked through and tasty. We ordered dessert too and that was tasty and came in good time although one order came slightly later. Toilets are upstairs though so not accessible to wheelchair users. Parking can be found around the cafe, we parked up at the local leisure centre which was about 5 mins walk away. Bought their cheapest set breakfast for £6.50. It came with fried bread but I was asked if I wanted to swap it for toast so I thought that was good customer service but I declined. Nice big, tasty coffee. Sausage could have been a bit more 'meaty'. Cooked to order. New photo added in July 2024.
