I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were not sociable at all and seemed completely uninterested, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. While the food looked appealing, the taste did not match the presentation and was definitely not worth the price. The lamb chops, in particular, were extremely hard and difficult to eat, which was quite unacceptable. On top of that, the service charges were very high, adding to the overall frustration. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I popped into Tawa Grill on 2 November with my two sons, knowing it would be our last visit before they close on 3 November after their lease couldn’t be renewed. It’s a real shame for Gants Hill — I’d say it’s a genuine loss to the local food scene. We ordered the Lahori Tawa Grill billed for 2–3 people. What arrived was enormous — honestly big enough to feed a family of five — and packed with authentic, well-balanced flavours.
