Now fully refurbished, looking better on the outside and really nice and welcoming on the inside. Good choice of beers on draft, and wide selection of food on the menu. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The wait time for our food to arrive was good. We were there early evening with quite a few other customers. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Free carparking. 12.3.2026 update. Well run quiz night with good competition. Good beer selection still, accommodating staff and good atmosphere. Enjoyable night.

I love this place been here many times, it's warm, cosy with a real fire and always a great welcome from Liam and the team here at The Hemlock Yesterday was full Christmas party mode.. with many large tables and everyone enjoying the atmosphere.. The staff were on fire and everyone was well taken care of... Food came out the kitchen quickly and no one was disappointed...
