So we popped in at 4:30pm.. (30/4/26). It's not busy at all.. we ordered a 1 pint of beer and a woodmans... and went to the "outdoor" area. The inside appeared clean and bright. It wasn't a busy time.. a handful of customers. My partner used the toilets and mentioned broken or lack of toilet seats.. and also NO tissue.. when mentioning the lack of personal hygiene cleaning product available in the toilet.. the staff said "unlucky". When we went to the outside seating area.. most of the tables were full of glasses.. cutlery on the floor.. sauces on tables (mayonnaise you cant serve anymor

Went here on Sunday, father's day, thought it be nice to get out with the mother in law. She likes coming here. Didn't seem to be many staff but we did receive our meal in good time. Foid was lovely as it always is. The only criticism I have is that the staff didnt seem to want to be there in my opinion. I have a blue light card and although it says that they accept blue light card it was not on this occasion. Reason its fathers say. Not a good reason really. It wasn't busy either. I accept on bank holidays but father's day is not a bank holiday. Not feeling great about coming back again.

Fantastic weekend at the Quays 🙌🏼 from the Friday to the early hours of Monday morning the pub really showed they are the best in Basildon! DJ, Quays fest, Kids fest and the England match, so much great entertainment and memories made for every person to have enjoyed. Shout out to all the staff at the Quays for making it all happen, what a team they are 👌🏼
