We came to Belfast for our son’s convocation at Queens and this being our last night here, we decided to pop in for dinner having read the good reviews. Son told us it might be hard to get a table due to it being a weekend but the nice gentleman accommodated us and got us a table for 2. Decided to go for the 15£ per person set meal and upsized my meal to the steak for 12£ additional. Glad we popped in here on our holiday. Loved the atmosphere and decor, staff were busy but welcomed us like friends. Looked forward to our creamy Irish pints and chicken pie meal that went down a treat after travelling all day. Top place 👌🏻

Understand that Sundays can be busy, and the shop was indeed full when we walked in without a reservation. Still, what happened during our visit today was far beyond what I would consider normal delays during a busy service. After being seated, we quickly decided what we wanted and set our menus aside to signal we were ready. We then waited for around 30 minutes without anyone coming over, not even to offer a drink.
