Amazing little place. Been here 2 times now. Must visit. Coffee is amazing. The vegetarian options are really nice. The shakshuka was really nice, it was different but I loved the slightly sweet taste to it, there was vegetarian meatballs as an option. The lumberjack french toast was great, apple crumble bits, mascarpone and blackberry compote was all great, slightly different to normal French toast, it’s not as light and fluffy as others that I’ve had but still very nice. The spicy beans and vegetarian sausages were great.

Really enjoyed our visit to The Pocket, it felt super cozy. The vibe is relaxed but stylish. I had the Chicken French Toast, and it was perfect: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. My husband had the Chicken Bombay Hash, which was perfectly spiced, and the bhajis were a highlight. We went on a weekend, so we had to queue for a bit over 45 minutes, but once seated, the service was fast and not rushed. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but worth it for a treat.

I knew instantly we were going to vibe when they were wearing t-shirts saying death before caffeine as I have tshirts that say exactly that. Coffee is my first love, bougie food second. visited about two weeks ago while I was enjoying a trip in Belfast. Overall, I was having a great day and was in a very good mood before coming to the restaurant. What disappointed me was a small but noticeable detail. When other customers were paying their bills, I noticed that the staff gave each of them a small item, something like a sweet or a fortune cookie. However, I was the only customer who did not receive one. Perhaps this was simply an oversight, and I sincerely hope that was the case.
