O Ribatejo is one of a few restaurants offering Portugese cuisine in the city and doing well on Melton Road. While Melton Road is better known for Asian food, this is worth checking out. With screens knocking out football, this busy restaurant has a strong vibe for couples, families and groups. Fish, veggie and meat dishes are abundant in a large menu. We had the beans to start and these were very nice. The draught Super Bock was properly decent also. Then we had prawns with bread before the deluxe banquet. Had an absolutely fantastic experience at O Ribatajo. The food was outstanding from start to finish, with a big selection that offers something for everyone. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can really tell that all dishes are made in house with care and attention. The highlights for me were the spicy chicken, which was full of flavour with just the right amount of heat, the amazing garlic bread that was perfectly baked and packed with taste, and the biscuits cake which was a delicious and indulgent way to finish the meal.
