I had a works meal here and was very impressed not just with the food but the service was also top. I had the fish and chips as main and it was really good it wasn’t greasy and the fish was flakey and fresh! The calamari starter was really good too. I finished off the meal with the chocolate mousse which had crumbled chocolate on top of it. This really is a brilliant restaurant. As already mentioned the food and service was brilliant and they catered for our group of 15 quickly and efficiently.

Fairly decent little gaff for a bit of a shopping break for lunch, the service was generally good, I had to wait a while to be seated as the one front of house member of staff was busy on a payment query. Once seated I was efficiently offered a menu and a drink. I sat on the sun bathed terrace which was great this particular Monday. Ordered an Aperol spritz which was well made, no complaints and arrived quickly. I order the Devon crab on toast which tasted great, clean fresh flavour, but the cube of toast was a little fibbily for me, I would have preferred a flatter thinner piece of toast just

I recently had dinner at Brown Restaurant with 11 of my women friends, and we had such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to the young lady who served us Eda she was very kind, professional, patient, and attentive throughout the evening. She made us feel comfortable and well looked after. We truly appreciated her great service and friendly attitude. We all had a wonderful time and would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

The dining experience of Browns was really Nice, But servers needs to be know that if the food products as per menu is out of stock then they can suggest something different option while taking the food order, rather telling 10-15 mins later… Secondly i felt the service was slow! Overall Food experience was good.
