Visiting The Old Crown was a wonderful experience. The building itself is amazing. So much history. The drinks were perfect and the food was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and entertaining. They even gave us some suggestions on what to see in some of the other cities we are visiting on our road trip across the U.K. I highly recommend stopping in if you're ever in Birmingham.

Had my first British Sunday roast here and really enjoyed it. Loved the flavors the chicken was juicy and tender. Also loved the atmosphere, quirky yet medieval feel to it. The only downside was the chicken was a bit on the small side and I feel like you don't get a lot for the price for the main roast and was still very hungry after.

Had a really lovely time at The Old Crown. There were 8 of us and the atmosphere was great and the food was lovely. Only comment, and not a criticism, but at times there was just one person on the bar taking food orders and serving drinks. So bit of a wait to be served. But definitely would visit again, was a lovely evening

Absolutely stunning location of you like history and pubs. The rooms are old but well kept. And the one we stayed in had a lovely boom in the bathroom to sit and read. Since its an old building at least the rooms e stayed in was not really soundproof to the street but that was clear to me when I booked it so only don't be surprised afterwards. Food is absolutely amazing with a large selection of vegetarian options. And the pub is amazing.
