I visited a couple of weeks ago with my grandchildren. The cafe was very busy but the staff were very polite and efficient. I visited a couple of weeks ago with my grandchildren. Great cafe with a lovely atmosphere. It was very busy when we visited, but the staff were friendly, attentive, and handled everything really well despite the rush. The service was excellent, and I appreciated how welcoming everyone was. Would definitely visit again.

Our sandwiches were burnt and flavourless. The latte was nice, but the hot chocolate was extremely sweet.

On my most recent visit, I bought a yoghurt with granola to take away. I don't suppose this was anyone's fault, but I popped it in a soft bag, and when I opened the bag found the top had slipped off and there was yoghurt everywhere. I had to throw away a book of stamps (expensive) and some packet sugar. A warning then, mind that packaging! *** This was my original post: I got hot chocolate and a bacon toastie, and everything was very nice. Service was fast and respectful. The food and drink were fresh and hot. The only thing is, the "toastie" seemed to have been fried, not cooked under a grill

Visited the Braintree branch for the first time today. The staff are super friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is so chilled. Excellent coffee, the best toasties we’ve ever had and such great value for money! The service was so quick but we didn’t feel like we needed to leave as soon as we’d finished eating and just enjoyed our latte and mocha whilst taking in the atmosphere 😊 We will be back again and again and again, mostly because we want to try all the other toasties on the menu!
