Popped into Old Town 97 in Brentford for a meal and it was a solid experience. The drinks were a great start, the Iced Yuan Yang was very authentic, and the Iced Lemon Tea was refreshing with a lovely citrus fragrance. For the mains, we tried the famous LSE Fried Rice. It’s egg fried rice topped with a smooth egg gravy and black pepper chicken chop; it had great "wok hei" and was very satisfying. Had a great meal at Old Town 97 today! The Malaysian curry beef short ribs were super tender and full of flavour. Loved the three combination roast meat for the variety, and the black truffle seafood fried rice had a nice wok hei with a subtle truffle aroma. The salted egg yolk French beans were crispy and really addictive. Overall, tasty food, good portions and friendly service. Would definitely come back 😊
