I tried their chicken burger today. It was really nice, very juicy, nice amount of veg, cheese and onion too. their chips is on the fluffy and thick type tho (i prefer thin and crispy chips). The place is very small, but I bought it to go so it's alright. I will definately come back to try their award winning burger next time.

Unbelievable burgers, best in Brighton by far. Had a great chat with the guy behind the counter too, really friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. You can taste the difference with the fresh ground beef they prepare every morning, and the artisan buns set it all off perfectly. They even display details about their Blackgate Signature beef; proper Irish/UK traditional breeds, grass fed and aged for flavour; which says a lot about how seriously they take quality. Proper quality from start to finish, no wonder they have won so many awards. 🍔🔥

truly an amazing burger that shocked me from my first bite! i got the basic one with the chilli sauce and the juicy beef really surprised me. the whole burger was very coherent and went well together. do note there is a bit of a wait (more than 10 minutes) but it’s worth it!
