Sonny Stores; an exemplary independent restaurant serving utterly delightful food. What was not to love! Visited on Thursday evening, greeted by a very warming gentleman, instantly felt welcomed and relaxed. Seated and taken through the menu. Quizzed both FoH staff on the wine, some of the dishes and asked for recommendations specific to our tastes. Both were very personable, knowledgeable and highly attentive. We weren't rushed at all, enjoying a slow evening in an endearing local setting. The food, wine and setting were all sublime, but the service from the FoH team was unequivocally superb.

Everything I had tonight, from the drink to every single dish, was wonderful. I had the gem lettuce salad (super simple and super tasty), the pizzetta and the ravioli. 10/10 for me, will be next time I am in town!

This is a true gem of the bristol food scene. Tucked away wihtin a residential neighbourhood you'll find this absolute treasure of a restaurant. The food is exciting and every dish felt unique and purposeful. Its a brilliant place for a date or to share a meal with friends and all the food is very well priced for the quality of produce. The service was warm and inviting but they're also very knowledgeable about the menu. Probably the best meal I had in Bristol and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!
