If you are trying to catch a vibe, I will recommended for sure. However when it comes to the food I was very disappointed, we order Picapollo and they charged us £15 pounds and only gave us 3 pieces of chicken, which to be honest for 15 pounds of picapollo ( chicken being the main part of the dish ) they put more salad than chicken. Honestly a waste of money, for that price I would have expected more chicken. The presentation was good but this plate is not worth £15 and I was dried, didn’t have that Dominican taste.

I really enjoy this spot! Although I reside in Lisbon, this is my third visit to Casa Mofongo to satisfy my cravings for Dominican cuisine when I’m in London. The decor of the place is incredibly charming definitely transports you to the Caribbean. The staff is super friendly, not to mention the owner Angel, super nice guy that comes around checking up on his customers to see if they are enjoying themselves. Obsessed! The atmosphere was amazing! The service even better, and the food, if you know, you know Dominican food is the best! The food was fresh, tasty, and absolutely delicious. I wish our hotel was not so far away or else we would’ve ate there every single night! The prices were also great. If you get a chance to go here, GO! you wont regret it!

The place is ideal to enjoy a typical Dominican cuisine. Ambiance and decoration are very pleasant and inviting. Although we had to wait for over 45 minutes for the food, it was pretty tasty.
