Not a good visit. Ordered a breakfast with brown bread toast. While making a sandwich with the egg/bacon I turned over the bread to shockingly find it MOULDY !! I told the owner who took the plate into the back and a heated discussion ensued in the back. I’m surprised when it was put in a toaster why the mould on all the bread slices wasn’t noticed in the first place. It’s a while since I’d been in the cafe and on this occasion I thought I’d grab a breakfast. At the time is was nauseating. The owner gave me a full refund but my confidence is zero to go back and eat or drink there again.

lovely place! the staff were really friendly and the food was not only reasonably priced but delicious and great value. i ordered the halloumi burger, it came cooked fresh and warm with a brilliant portion of chips and a selection of whichever sauces i wanted, we paid around 7.95 for the burger and with how much food we got you’d have thought we’d spend much more, will definitely come back when in hillsborough again

Ayla’s Cafe in Sheffield is a fantastic place for a full English breakfast! The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. When I asked to remove the tomato, they happily did so and even offered an extra item of my choice at no extra charge. The staff are genuinely lovely, and their attention to detail made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Sheffield! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for great food and wonderful service.
