This is both a lovely pub with a good view of the castle, and a good restaurant with reasonable tasty food. We booked online and ordered via app at the table but the staff serving were excellent, quick and polite. The food was really tasty and reasonably priced and even in grey and rainy weather the view was really nice. The building itself is a bit of a treat, with part of the structure dating back to the 14th Century and the interior being clean, comfortable and cosy.

We regularly visit. The view is fantastic and the draught is decent. Unfortunately, on our last 2 visits, the ran out of food before 6pm. Out most recent was the bank holiday weekend and it was very busy as expected. This seemed to completely overwhelm them. The beautiful weather had been forecast for weeks and so you would think would be better prepare for the crowds. They ran out of Peroni, Old Mout Cider, Aspals and all food before 6pm. The toilets were very dirty too with the amount of people using them and I had to ask for toilet roll twice. Shame as we usually love this pub!

This is the bar to head to for amazing views of the Castle from the beer garden. Plenty of seats outside and in, have a look around theres outdoor booths and hideaways inside. Good choice of ales too.

I am a regular customer at Greene King pubs and generally have good experiences, but the level of customer service at The Court House is completely unacceptable. On May 3rd, I placed an order via the app at 1:54 PM. My friend went to the bar right after and was told there was a one-hour wait for food. Because we couldn't wait that long, I immediately spoke to a member of staff at the bar to cancel my order. This was less than 5 minutes after placing it, and we hadn't received any drinks or food. I was assured the cancellation was processed and that my money would be refunded within two weeks.
